After so long..
I still did not manage to get a reservation for brunch.
So we gave the brunch a miss and thought we would try the tea instead.
The cafe was relatively empty at 4pm.
Perhaps the dining crowd is a gauge to how good the food is..
Well the food was not that fantastic nor that bad.
Just that the term value for money was a more suitable measurement.
A tad too pricey for the type of food served.
Citrus Prawn Skewers
I love the tingling sour sensation,
So I thought the lemon and prawns combination was quite refreshing.
The prawns were a little overcooked though.
Grilled Chicken Kebabs with mint yoghurt sauce
The chicken was average but the minty sauce added a little zest to the boring meat.
Death by Chocolate Cake
The reputation was definitely up to its name.
We were literally killed by its generous oozing, slightly bitter chocolate fudge with every mouthful of rich moist chocolate cake.
The cold vanilla bean ice cream gave an oxymoronic twist to the warm chocolate fudge.
Without a doubt,
This was the best of our orders.
Sinful calories to the max..!
It was DEATH indeed.
Guessed this was the time when all the horses were up and wandering around the premises..
Basking in the hot sun, grazing randomly whenever they found grass.
The clicking of the hooves were prominent outside the cafe on every 10 to 15 minutes interval.
We wandered around the saddle club after the meal in hope of seeing some white horses..
Horses are without fail,
One of the very dignified animals which can make one stop and stare in awe..
The white horses all passed us so quickly..
We finally found one grazing near the carpark =)
Look at its cute white eye lashes..
And it was making faces at me hurhur..
I approached it and patted its face..
Felt the strong bone facial structure beneath..
The owner actually warned not to stand behind the horse for fear it might kick.
A real magnificent being..
