Wednesday, June 10

A simple day out to town..
Cineleisure for Blood, The Last Vampire.
It was mindless Kill Bill entertainment and definitely a show for Gianna Jun's (Sassy Girl) fans.
It was also exactly a year ago that we were here for a show and dinner =)

Time flies damn fast -,-

This time round,
Dear asked if I want to go Chijmes or Dempsey for dinner..
We settled for the latter.

Came upon PS Cafe the minute we entered Harding Road..
Which was exceptionally weird because PS was not on our dining list.
It wasnt easy the last time when Suki and I tried to locate it.

As we were driving through Dempsey..
The row of bars and dining areas reminded us of Niseko =)
We settled for a Japanese restaurant spontaneously.

Happened to catch a glimpse of the signage just a split second ago.

The quiet ambience was good.
Like a sanctuary away from the bustling city

Much effort was put in for the Jap style deco..
Soft Japanese music played gently in the background.
It gradually got a little too conducive for sleep.

They served us hot towels like SQ would the minute we sat down.
The lack of patrons won us extremely good services on the part of Raku staff.

And the food tasted the way it would be prepared by a Japanese chef.
Instant gratification that wasnt hard on the stomach at all.

I loved the relaxed and sumptuous birthday treat ^^
