We received an invitation from a long time JC mate for a tea gathering at her place.

She has been wanting to invite us few years back..

But it only materialized recently.

She and her hubby lived at a five room flat at Depot Road..

Somewhere which I had absolutely no idea how to get there..

Till I hitched a ride from another fellow mate.

Entering her old school home was really something out of the ordinary..

Yet at the same time..

It wasnt surprising that her that these came from her creative mind.

Innovative designs have always revolved around her individualistic character.

Once a La Selle student..

She did not take the usual boring JC-Uni path..

And she persevered through her ideals..

She’s now a Singapore girl.

While most people keep dogs as pets..

She kept cats.

Not one but four.

She came up with the designs in her house..

From the mock steps to the raw bricked walls..

The other two rooms had glass walls and glass doors..

And the most unforgettable piece of decorative furniture in her house?

Her parents' house underwent HDB upgrading..

And hence she went to ask Town Council for the antique.

She used to use them as shoe shelves but gradually turned them to hold documents and miscellaneous..

Had fun listening to her SQ stories..
