We set off for some authentic HK breakfast..
First off to Mido Cafe, but it wasnt opened yet.
(They only open at 10am on Sunday mornings)
Due to time constraint, we had to settle for a second choice.
Empty streets were hard to come by in HK..
Mommy was just asking why we did not see a single policeman on our first two days..
Along the way to Parkes Street,
We finally saw policemen patrolling the area..
Then this was what Daddy and Ming did.
Australian Dairy
This was my third time here =)
We were sort of stunned when we saw the long queue..
Almost 30 people in the queue?!
We queued for about 15 minutes..
The fastest moving we had ever seen..
Seems like the eatery is still going strong after all these years..
Inside the dairy was mad like hell..
One guy took the orders, the next guy served the drinks within a minute..
And the next one served the macaroni, and then the toast..
Everything came within 5 minutes.
The minute you finished the food on one plate, poof it would be cleared away.
The minute the whole table finished, you would be hurried off for the next person in the queue.
That was how we only queued for 15 minutes when we first arrived.
The thing about this dairy..
Food was very authentically HK style..
Prices increased by a mere HKD$2 for the past 4 years..
A set includes toast and eggs (choice of scrambled or poached)..
Plus ham macaroni and a cup of ice tea, HK coffee or milk tea.
We ordered 3 standard sets, a peanut toast, one HK coffee and an additional traditional egg white milk pudding which tasted haven..
Total breakfast cost HKD$110 =D
Daddy and Mommy could not stand the fast pace of the HK cafe.
But it got the thumbs up from Ming.
After breakfast, we stepped outside only to find the queue become longer =X

Time to set off for the next destination.

Sunday isnt a really good time to travel in HK.
The queue to the the peak tram dwindled till far away from the terminus.
Queues and more queues =X
Only as we neared the peak tram counters that we realised..
Since we were planning on the wax museum, we could have joined the other shorter queue to purchase the ticket combo.
Got our tickets and then queue again to get on the tram..
That was a looong wait..
The tram came every 10 minutes.
And we waited for 3 rounds.
The tram accelerated at about 50 to 60 degrees inclination.
Ming and I were standing and cam whoring at the same time till the extent when we had to stand slanted to the balancing threshold.
Mommy said we looked funny lol..
The Sky Terrace
Standing at 428 metres above sea level, the highest viewing platform in Hong Kong offering a stunning 360-degree panoramic view across the Hong Kong.
Whether we visit in the day or night, both had splendid views.
We paid an additional HKD$25 with our Octopus card.
It was breathless indeed.
360 degree panoramic one.
An eagle soaring high and free..
And I wonder..
Whoever lives up there..
How on earth they commute?
Cam whored A LOT..
Jumped A LOT..
Under the hot scorching sun..
Happy..

Finally we decided we had enough of the sun that we proceeded to the wax museum.
We had 1000 plus photos for the entire trip.
And the bulk of it belonged to day 3 =X
500 to be exact.
Daddy went crazy.
Too bad "Bruce Lee and Andy Lau are away for attention"..
Daddy did not get to see his favourite.
With the Beatles =)
And we became violent too..

After The Peak,
We were looking for a place to rest those legs and nurse my crazy stomach cramps..
Causeway Bay
Thought we would pop by since we were on Hong Kong island.
But I did not plan much for Causeway Bay, so we ended up walking on a random note.
From Lockhart road to Percival street to the wet market at the Canal Road West.
The not-so-flaky egg tart from HK =)
Really fresh from the oven and yummy indefinitely.
We walked through the wet market to the end..
Times Square is on the opposite side of the viaduct.
Settled dinner and we proceeded to Wan Chai.
Thought we would check out the Toys Street Market at Tai Yuen Street..
Quite disappointing in fact..
The authentic 龟麟膏 to end the day =)
