I must say HK changed quite a fair bit.
Not in terms of building structures, authentic bakery stores, cheap dim sum, nor the road structures..
It was in fact,
Human relations.
Attitudes seemed to deteriorate proportionately to the influx of foreigners..
There is hardly any customer service in HK any more..
Everything is processed at a high rate of productivity,
So much so that any halt to that will mean you are wasting their time and the "tsk tsk" will come.
Even patrons of the shops pushed past you without any single sign of remorse,
Nor any attempt to avoid brushing against or knocking into you.
No "sorries", no "excuse mes".
It wasn't like that 4 years back, sighz..
There were simply too many such rude instances that turned us very off.
But casting those minor unpleasant encounters aside,
the trip on the overall was still a memorable one.
They all got what they wanted in this trip..
Hurhurhur..
Looking at their faces of excited awe is really really,
P.r.i.c.e.l.e.s.s
I'm so glad they enjoyed the trip..=D
