Saturday, August 15
This Laaaady was such a blast..
10,000 audience, on an elevated grass slope.
The concert venue was definitely not doing any justice to this natural born entertainer.
Waited for almost two freaking hours before the concert started.

All frustrations and the pissed reactions to the delay immediately disappeared to thin air the minute she appeared with her signature outift and very interesting stage gimmicks.
"My name is Lady Gaga. This is my haus"
Like a doll trapped in a pandora's box..
She did some locking for that nice robotic effect, seemingly trying to break through.
This time we supposed she had on one of her blonde wigs with purple streaks..
We could not really tell from that distance.
Yes that pathetic distance.

Whatever her outrageous fashion style is,
Her influence here is undoubtingly HUGE.
So much so that when we first reached Fort Canning Park..
The indicators that showed us we were at the right places were NOT the Lady's posters.
It was the iconic hair bow and the signature lightning streak on the faces of ardent fans.
We even saw peacock eye lashes.
Who says Sg lacked passionate fans?
And yes, she had her infamous multiple costume changes.
A mixture of burlesque with lots of glitter.
When it was time for a costume change,
her dancers would whisk her overhead to back stage.
From her red sequined high neck cape, to the hot red granny undies..
The most unforgettable outift I thought was her final bubble balls outfit that actually matched the piano that she played on stage..
Thereafter she took off the bubble balls to reveal a nude skin costume.
Final song topped by a police hat.
Brown Eyes (The video where she wore the bubble outfit)
Her eclectic fashion sense,
Though inspired from many different fashion icons..
Gradually become one that people all over identify it as the Lady Gaga style.
Throughout the show..
Laaaaady Gaga kept emphasizing how much she missed SG and yada..
When the crowd oozed disbelief, and as if she heard them..
"I'm not just saying this because I'm here..
Cos you guys make a mean motherf***ing chilli crabs.."
That left the crowd in a few seconds of disbelief that she actually used that F word but almost instantly, the crowd went wild cheering again.
Guess one of the reasons why people loved this performer..
She was not afraid to be herself.
Those words of how she felt about this f***ing world,
"People build you up just to tear you down"
You could tell this lady has come a long hard way.
She is but a thinker who is very sensitive of the world at such a young age.
And perhaps that gives her much inspiration to write fantastic songs.
Of course her burst of energy was evident.
Perhaps there was an allocated dance choregraphy to every song..
She jumped around in the most quirky dance steps..
They were simple unrehearsed moves,
But the way she did it with her equally good dancers were enough for an impressive performance.
On and off,
She had on that portable keyboard and sang sometimes to a different tune from her CD.
This was one of the better videos..
She commanded the stage with ease indeed.
During the rendition of the unplugged Poker Face,
She played the piano,
Climbed onto it, stood on the chair,
Did some acrobatic yoga stunts..
Posed for the cameras..
And then affirmed herself as disgusting.
LOL
Then she let in:
"Do you know when they told me I couldnt make it big, do you know what I told them?"
The crowd actually roared "F*** you"
And that was ironically not her answer =p
Instead
She answered with the The Poker Face.
She mingled with the crowd not with diplomacy..
Just simply a spunky personality =)
Loved her to bits..
We left the concert grounds satisfied with her performance.
Gaga-ed.

If you ever go Fort Canning Park for concerts,
Perhaps you should bring:
A stool, an electric fan, the best DSLR with tripods, the best video recorder..
Be prepared to be buttered by sweaty people and probably high heels is a damn good idea.
You need all the height endowments possible >,< Suffered neck aches (sprains) for the next 2 days..
Stretched our hands as high as possible cos that was the only way to film the videos without "salty pig hands" waving in front of us.
More strenous than yoga -.-
Indeed.
