Virgin trip to the Indoor Stadium,
A first real concert.
It felt good the mintue we stepped foot on the standing pen.
Just few days back we could feel the boiling anticipation to PCD concert.
Finally =)
We were sort of disappointed with the stage.
Budget constraint was obviously apparent.
But then again,
Disappointment is an overstatement.
This was our first trip to a concert..
Hence there cant be any comparisons to other concerts.
Teehee..
Waited for slightly more than an hour..
Till we saw many standing audience began to sit down..
Did the same.
The dolls performance started late..
Probably because of the rigid bags checking procedures outside that took so long..
Plus Singaporeans are forever late.
We got pretty amused by the groups and cohorts of Caucasians..
And the masses of the crowd belonged to those of working adults.
Not kids.
The group swayed in with cool ease..
Glittery corsets, girly mini skirts and biker boots..
Not a spectacular entry as compared to their concerts elsewhere..
(Where they drove real bikes onto the stage) But this was definitely chic enough to draw screams from the whole stadium.
Sexy dance moves with a tinge of masculinity,
Flirtatious teasing and reciprocal engagement with the crowd.
Definitely no indication of any sleezy intentions..
The dolls were all avid natural dancers..
But as the concert progressed,
The dip in stamina began to surface.
Till they introduced a short segment to ask three audience from the crowd to a dance competition.
Sort of a break for them and it got the crowd wild all right =)
The only prop on the dull stage was a backdrop screensaver to match their outfits.
And yet the crowd could get so high..
Define true blue performers..
The standing tix were the best one could ever ask for at this concert.
How could one remain sitting to the funky dance moves to the Pussycat dolls??!
So glad dear made the sweet mistake.
The lead vocalist Nicole Scherzinger is drop dead gorgeous..
Chiseled features found in most mix blood..
A perfectly toned body (imagine six packs)..
She sang her self-written songs with much vigor..
And her powerful voice stole the whole show, the entire feat.
Till she overshadowed the rest of the members..
It aint easy to dance and sing at the same time..
But she hit the high notes beautifully with no faltering strain..
To which the live version sounded even better than the CD version.
We absolutely loved her to bits..
With such charisma and talents..
who is Jolin, duh?
I went there thinking that 1.6Gb worth of space on the SD card was enough..
Soooo wrong.
Finally saw the flaws of my camera..
The processing speed was very slow..
The switch from video to pictures mode was even slower..
And the video function cannot capture the intensive sound frequency..
This,
Has got to be the best video among the rest.
Enjoy.
First concert to date and it already got us all high..
And it got me insomniac too -,-
